I’ve been training for a few years and spent 3 years working for a commercial gym before I joined the Beardown Family in April 2021 and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Before starting my career in the fitness industry I was an assistant coach for my high schools athletic conditioning class and was mentored by my high school track and field coach. I also started playing recreational sports when I was 8 years old and ran track at a high level so health and fitness has been a major part of my life and always will be.
Like I mentioned above, my love for health and fitness started at a very young age with recreational sports. I’m a major sports fan and even wrote articles for the Baltimore Ravens for 2 seasons (2018-2019) which was an absolute blast. Athletics and fitness go hand in hand when it comes to improving your health and longevity and that should be everyone’s main goal. But you see, that’s the problem, most people don’t know how to get to their goals and that’s where I come in. With all the bs we have these fitness influencers promoting nowadays nobody knows what actually works and that’s one of the main reasons I became a trainer. Most of my training experience and focus revolves around Bodybuilding/Body Sculpting, Muscle Gain, Strength Training, Mobility, and Athletics. With that being said, my main goal is to have you moving as optimally as possible so no matter what you’re doing in life you won’t be limited physically whether it be lifting a box, carrying groceries, playing with your kids, or etc. Your body will take care of you if you take care of it and you only get one so it’s better to start sooner than later.
The most selfish thing you can do in this world is help someone else. Why is it selfish? Because the gratification and the good feeling you get from helping someone else, there’s nothing better. That’s why I’m so passionate about my career in health & fitness.
